The Account Management Services team develops new capabilities for Mastercard and its customers. We protect cardholders and card issuers and help them manage their daily spending patterns. To enable us to uphold the high standard of these applications, we are looking for out-of-the-box thinkers to play a critical role in the upkeep and continual health of these products.
We are seeking a Manager, Software Development Engineering, to work with our cross-functional development teams, providing technical leadership and people management within the development lifecycle for new products and services.
Role As Manager, Software Development Engineering you will manage scrum teams building Java-based microservice applications to host on the cloud.
Take a product initiative from requirements to productionLead and guide agile teams of scrum masters, business analysts, developers, and testers to deliver software that meets business objectivesManage regular 1-1 conversations with team members and perform talent reviews and deliver end-of-year conversationsOversee effective development and delivery of software solutionsCollaborate with the Product Owners, Business/Tech Operations, and other stakeholdersDrive positive change within systems/processes to optimally deliver on commitmentsDrive agile best practices amongst the teamsEnhance your team's capability and performance through coaching, mentoring, performance feedback, and career developmentCommunicate status/progress to product teams/customers/senior managementContribute to the knowledge of the software development guildAll About You Experience with managing development teams in a multi-team environment, and experience with remote managementExperience with applying Scrum or SAFe Agile in a product development environment where high levels of performance, reliability, and security are essentialHands-on experience with Java-based applications using Spring Boot and Microservice-based architecture to be hosted on cloud platformExperience with RESTful APIs is a distinct advantageGreat communicator with proven experience in collaborating with business stakeholdersPayments and fintech experience will be an advantage when it comes to compliance requirements such as PCICorporate Security Responsibility All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks come with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must:
