Position: CMO Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Manager for EMEA Purpose of the Role: Responsible for sourcing, contracting and managing assigned CMO suppliers with a yearly budget responsibility of around 60-70 million USD.
Key Responsibilities: Proactively manage assigned CMO accounts to improve on cost, quality and service according to business expectations.Define and implement yearly savings targets linked to assigned suppliers.Define and implement short and long term savings pipelines through SSI.Develop links with site procurement teams to find regional synergies and unlock supplier/product value.Build leverage and develop sourcing strategies with key global, regional and local suppliers.Build and maintain a network of CMOs maximizing value from relationships.Get early involved in potential new BD&L deals and R&D projects.Screen product base and design re-sourcing strategies (i.e. insourcing, transfer).Supplier lead for SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) globally.Business Intelligence support in terms of market screening, benchmarking and industry knowledge.Support the Global Procurement strategy and methodology.Identify and develop stakeholder relationships, expanding the integration of Procurement.Build and maintain CMO wide spend visibility.Negotiate supply contracts and monitor performance against contractual commitments during contract life cycle and beyond.Develop and manage the RFI/RFP process as part of the negotiation cycle.Identify, implement, and track cost savings projects in cooperation with site stakeholders, site controllers and regional finance.Coordinate supplier implementation and follow ups with site buyers/stakeholders.Comply with Quality Policies for vendor evaluation, selection and approval.Drive compliance of procurement processes, procedures and best practice initiatives.Qualifications: BA/MSc or equivalent.CIPS/NEVI or equivalent.Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).Negotiation & analytical skills.Understanding of the Pharmaceutical/medical device industry.Bausch & Lomb is committed to equal employment opportunity and complies with equal employment opportunity laws in effect wherever it operates.
