About the role: As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, the successful candidate will be integral to the business, providing commercial leadership and taking full ownership of key projects.
This role involves managing both pre- and post-contract commercial functions and overseeing contract reporting.

Requirements: • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field with over 5 years of post-graduate experience.
• Proven track record in managing subcontract accounts.
• Highly numerate, with exceptional attention to detail.
Skilled in gathering, interpreting, and presenting data for budget preparation and valuations.
• Systematic, diligent, and well-organised, consistently achieving high standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities: • Provide clear and accurate financial reports to drive optimal commercial results.
• Supervise project delivery reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor and ensure subcontract orders are prepared according to company procedures.
• Prepare cost and value reports accurately to ensure everything matches up.
• Handle standard construction contract forms, including variations and final account settlements.
• Attend meetings with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and specialist subcontractors.
