STEM Recruitment Partners is representing a medical device company, based in Limerick that is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to join their operations. This is an 18-month contract with a salary range of €55-65,000 DOE plus benefits. Responsibilities: Identify and implement process changes to enhance device quality, performance, and efficiency. Lead projects focused on cost reduction and yield improvement. Support the investigation and resolution of non-conformances. Provide engineering input for regulatory submissions and vendor changes. Collaborate with R&D and Process Development for effective new device transfers. Develop process engineering layout plans and manage line extensions or redesigns. Support post-market surveillance and risk analysis for devices. Participate in and lead CAPA, process validations, and pFMEA activities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to benefit key business metrics. Develop project deliverables including BOMs and production documentation. Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Proven project planning and execution skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Knowledge of medical device quality and regulatory systems (ISO13485 and FDA CFR 820 preferred). Proficient in Microsoft Office. Willingness to travel for company business.
