Roles & Responsibilities: Provide support to the manufacturing organization to facilitate efficient operations within the production area, optimize existing processes, and ensure that production goals are met.Initiate and complete technical activities leading to new or improved products or processes, for current programs and next generation programs to meet strategic goals and objectives of the company.Assist with the day-to-day demand, preventative maintenance, and problem-solving of plant and manufacturing equipment to achieve product quality and production schedule goals.Monitor performance of equipment, machines, and tools and correct equipment problems or process parameters that produce non-conforming products, low yields, or product quality issues.Interface with operations, quality, and technical teams on products or processes in the existing manufacturing processes.Ensure the plant meets its safety, quality, regulatory, service, and financial goals through effective support of Engineering Site Services.What we are looking for: A third-level qualification in a relevant Engineering or relevant discipline, providing a basic understanding of engineering, scientific, and/or quality principles required for the role.Two years' experience in engineering/scientific/quality systems.Experience with mechanical, electrical, and automation engineering.Experience in the manufacture of diagnostic assays or a relevant post-graduate qualification is an advantage.If this sounds like an opportunity that could potentially be of interest to you, simply get in touch with Nathaniel Ferris by applying to this advertisement or giving me a call.
