Ohshima Ireland is currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Team Lead to join our team based in our facility in Shannon, Co. As an ISO9001 and AS9100 certified company, we maintain rigorous quality standards and adhere to industry best practices to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:Staffing and Production Management:Collaborate with area supervisors and other team leads to manage and prioritize staffing assignments to meet customer demand and production schedules.Ensure continuous supply of components to the production line by communicating with stores.Meet all production targets as outlined by KPIs and populate target boards to monitor daily progress.Address and resolve issues affecting production, including quality, performance, processes, equipment, materials, and labor.Team Leadership and Development:Direct team members to foster a multifunctional team environment with flexibility to cover all roles.Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving equipment and hardware issues.Conduct regular team meetings to align on targets, address assembly line issues, and promote a solution-focused work area.Drive a positive, can-do attitude within the team, emphasizing teamwork and high standards.Quality Assurance:Communicate quality requirements and standards to the team, ensuring adherence to documented policies and procedures.Complete required documentation related to business or regulatory requirements.Continuous Improvement:Support and identify continuous improvement efforts with the Production Supervisor and Management teams.Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions and ensure an FOD-free environment.Update production metrics and facilitate regular team communication to drive improvements.Qualifications:Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with prior leadership or supervisory experience.Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and continuous improvement methodologies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.Problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues proactively and effectively.Ability to follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and documentation standards in a manufacturing setting. Please note that this role requires candidates to be currently residing in Ireland with a valid work permit.
