Job Description Role: The Manufacturing Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing our onsite and offsite Warehouses, Site logistics, distribution and delivering improvement projects.
You will play an important role in ensuring the efficient operation of materials flow, adherences to quality standards, and the delivery of high-quality products.
This position requires a strong background in supply chain and managerial skills.
Responsibilities: Managing logistics and inventory held on site, in our 3PL's and off-site storage locations.
Managing our Customer Orders Pick/Pack operation for all finished goods including logistics.
Support Manufacturing planning group to ship customers order on time and in full.
Managing all receiving and checking goods inwards and associated receipt onto our MRP system.
Management of manufacturing materials personnel including scheduling of work/performance reviews etc.
Ensure Accurate order picking, labelling and paperwork.
Responsible for the proper storage of warehouse materials prior to transfer to Manufacturing.
Including pallet space optimisation.
Perform/assist with stock checks and cycle counting.
Responsible for maintaining Air Cargo security onsite – known consignor status.
Other activities and process improvement projects as assigned.
General warehouse upkeep and GMP improvement plans across all warehouses and cold storage units.
Qualifications Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Warehouse Management is desirable.
Minimum of 3-5 year's industry experience in a Manufacturing/Warehouse environment.
Supervisor experience necessary.
Clean driver's licence.
Experience of MRP systems is essential, SAP desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise.
Strong Organisational skills.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
