Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Assembly Operator with experience in refrigeration to join our team in the production of chiller products.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, and ensuring the quality of our chiller units.
This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a strong understanding of refrigeration systems.
Responsibilities: 1.Assembly of Chiller Units: Construct chiller products according to engineering drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions.
2.Refrigeration System Installation: Install and connect refrigeration components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and expansion valves.
3.Electrical Wiring: Wire and connect electrical components including motors, controllers, sensors, and switches.
4.Refrigeration Expertise: Utilise advanced knowledge of refrigeration systems to purge units with Nitrogen, effectively removing moisture and contaminants to optimize system performance.
5.R290 Charging: Safely charge chiller units with R290 refrigerant, following manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols to ensure proper refrigerant levels and system functionali-ty.
6.Safety Compliance: Adhere rigorously to all safety guidelines and protocols associated with handling Nitrogen and R290 refrigerant, including proper ventilation, use of personal pro-tective equipment (PPE), and adherence to regulatory requirements.
7.Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks during assembly, purging, and charging processes to verify compliance with specifications and standards, identifying and address-ing any deviations or defects promptly.
8.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly procedures, purging and charging activities, quality inspection results, and safety compliance documentation, ensuring com-prehensive traceability and accountability.
9.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot any issues or discrepancies encountered dur-ing assembly, purging, or charging, implementing corrective actions to ensure product in-tegrity and performance.
10.Collaboration: Collaborate closely with team members, including engineers, technicians, and quality assurance personnel, to optimize assembly processes, share insights, and con-tribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements: 1.Refrigeration Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in assembly operations within the refrigeration industry, with demonstrated expertise in purging units with Nitrogen and charging with R290 refrigerant.
2.Technical Skills: Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
3.Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and precision in assembly, purging, and charging processes, with a focus on quality and compliance.
4.Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and re-solve technical issues efficiently, ensuring uninterrupted workflow and product quality.
5.Safety Consciousness: Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment through strict adherence to safety guidelines and protocols, with a proactive approach to hazard identification and mitigation.
6.Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting, as required in an assembly environment.
7.Additional technical training or certification in refrigeration, HVAC systems, or related fields is desirable.
Preferred Qualifications: 1.Previous Chiller Assembly Experience: Prior experience specifically in the assembly of chiller units or similar refrigeration products, particularly involving Nitrogen purging and R290 charging.
2.Continuous Learning Mindset: Willingness to stay updated on industry best practices, tech-nological advancements, and safety regulations relevant to refrigeration operations.
