The Role & What You Will Be Doing The role´s purpose is to support the Viatris commercial organization in Ireland, by developing and executing a strategy focused on partnering with key stakeholders and key decision makers, such as Government stakeholders, payors and private payors, Hospital stakeholders, Trade Associations, and Patient Associations, to raise awareness about the company, optimize the future strategy of the company and ensure access to Viatris medicines within the existing portfolio as well as the pipeline.
The Market Access Director will report directly to the Country Manager and will be a key contributor to the Leadership Team.

Support the Country Manager and the Commercial Business to identify new opportunities for the business, preparing the market conditions for the launch of new products and negotiating access to Viatris medicines in Ireland.Execute HTA submissions, including adaptation of Regional materials to local needs and presentation to local stakeholders in collaboration with other internal stakeholders.Support new product launches by developing product-specific Market Access strategies and materials, generation of economic value data based on clinical and health economic evidence and outcomes research.Define and communicate value to different stakeholders and determine their approaches to pricing, contracting, reimbursement, access, fulfillment, and patient affordability.Ensure alignment and cross-functional coordination with overall brand and key generic products strategy and adapt to changes affecting customers, competition, and context (policy, economic, societal, technological).Work closely with European Market Access Team/Network to ensure input into the Regional and Global strategies to ensure Irish payer requirements are adequately considered.Develop and maintain up-to-date relevant knowledge through advisory boards, conferences, analysis, internal and external engagements, and tracking of local P&R developments.About Your Skills & Experience For this role, we're looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills, and experiences:
Master's degree in health economics/life science/medicine or equivalent.Minimum 5 years of experience in the Irish Pharmaceutical market environment (pharmaceutical industry or a consultancy position) with respective responsibilities in the current job.Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Irish Healthcare systems and HTA processes.Hands-on experience leading P&R submissions and delivering P&R strategies and materials for NCE and/or value-added medicines.Ability to understand and use health economic models and evidence.Knowledge of Dermatology, Gastro-intestinal, and ophthalmology therapeutic areas is a plus.Other qualifications: Experience and willingness to work in a dynamic, lean environment.Proven ability to understand and clearly communicate medical, scientific, legal, and economic topics.Strong communication, project management, organizational, and planning skills.Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and manage complex business situations.Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.Reliable and committed personality with a high integrity to deal with confidential information.Fluent in English (proficient), other languages are an advantage.Travel within EU up to 30% as required.This position can be Hybrid or Remote based and must be located in Ireland.At Viatris, we are dedicated to building a truly diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your past experience doesn't fully align with every requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
