Purpose of this role
The Marketing Coordinator role at the Irish Management Institute (IMI) is responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Marketing and Business & Client Development teams. The Marketing Coordinator contributes to the overall success of the Marketing and Business & Client Development teams by providing efficient and effective support in driving revenue growth and client acquisition.
The role will report to the Head of Marketing.

Marketing Duties:Website Updates: Coordinate with marketing to ensure programme dates on the website are accurate.Event Coordination: Support the sales team at trade shows, conferences, and product launches by providing brand collateral.Content Upload: Upload news and blog articles promptly, optimizing for SEO with appropriate keywords and meta descriptions.Member Event Support: Assist in running member events, managing attendee needs, facility arrangements, and in-room support.Lead Tracking: Monitor lead volume and quality, providing insights to improve marketing efforts.General Support: Assist with other marketing initiatives and provide coverage for colleagues during absences.Assist the sales team in managing and maintaining the CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date client information.Generate sales reports, track sales activities, and update the sales pipeline to provide insights and support sales forecasting.Prepare sales presentations, marketing collateral, and sales support materials to facilitate client engagement and sales meetings.Coordinate and assist in the preparation of sales proposals, contracts, and agreements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and compile data for sales performance analysis and reporting.Client Relationship Management:Support the sales team in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and support.Assist in managing client inquiries, requests, and concerns, coordinating with the appropriate internal teams to ensure timely resolution.Monitor and track client interactions, follow-ups, and communication, ensuring effective relationship management.Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling to existing clients.Market Research and Competitive Analysis:Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential sales opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscape.Gather and analyse information on industry trends, client needs, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.Support the sales team in developing targeted marketing campaigns and strategies to penetrate new markets and reach new clients.Assist in preparing market intelligence reports and presentations for the sales team and senior management.Work Location and Virtual Work: This role is based at IMI's headquarters in Dublin. Travel within Ireland and, occasionally, internationally is required to attend meetings, conferences and client engagements.

Skills and Competencies: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications or qualifications are advantageous.Proven experience in bid management, sales support, or related roles.Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare professional and persuasive sales materials.Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales support tools.Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in document preparation and data management.Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather, analyse, and present market intelligence and competitive insights.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.To ensure IMI recruit the right people to join our team, people who actively reflect our values and culture, we take a competency-based approach to interviewing.
