This job entails working in a very busy dealership, so experience in the Renault and Dacia brand is essential, but ongoing training is provided. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and be capable of producing quality work in a busy fast-paced environment. RequirementsA positive attitude and a willingness to learnWill be required to operate to efficiencies and productivity standardsA full clean driving licenceBe able to work to high standards and be highly motivatedBe willing to partake in any training requiredYou will need to be an experienced technician with a relevant formal qualificationTeam Player – assist other technicians when the workshop is under pressure, and take ownership of any safety issues you identify in the workshop.Main objectives and responsibilitiesTo service repair vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' guidelines.To make written and verbal reports on service and repair activity to the workshop controller.To complete administrative procedures (including warranty) relating to service and repair work.To maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.To undertake vehicle road tests.To attend dealership and manufacturers' training programs.Specific tasksUndertake the timely repair and servicing of customer vehicles in accordance with the brand's technical standards.Conduct full examinations of vehicles and identify non-routine defects or additional faults either in the workshop or during road tests.Undertake Electronic Vehicle Health ChecksWork closely with the service team and ensuring they are kept informed of the progress of work on customer vehicles and they are fully briefed on work completed. Discuss technical issues/works with directly customers when requested.To carry out service and repair work in accordance with manufacturer and dealership quality standards.To achieve laid down efficiencies and productivity targets.To strictly observe the documentation requirements and administrative/reporting procedures.To strictly observe dealership Health and Safety regulations.To contribute to good team spirit and the achievement of departmental objectives.To take care of dealership equipment and tools.To ensure that the personal toolkit is maintained at an appropriate level.To read and understand manufacturer and dealership technical bulletins.Windsor Motors is an equal opportunities employer and the successful candidate will be joining Ireland's largest Motor Group.
