Job OverviewTE Medical are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler (MH) to join our team. As a MH, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of Raw Materials and finished goods through our operations.
The Material Handler within TE Medical reports to a supervisor within Supply Chain Operations and will support the operation by completing a mixture of the below tasks:
Job ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Receiving, movements, storage, counting and issuing of materialsComplete all physical and administrative tasks.Responsible for ensuring they comply with all Health and Safety requirements and use the necessary PPE.Escalate any issues that prevents them from being able to complete their tasks in a timely manner.Loading / Unloading Trucks as required.Line Side Material ManagementResponsible for Line side material management activities including ordering, movement, storage and counting of raw materials, sub-assemblies and finished goods that are used or made as part of the production process within TE Medical Galway.Responsible for ensuring that all raw material used in production will be notified to warehouse to ensure replenishment.Collection & movement of material between buildings.What your background should look like:Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.Competent in Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel & Outlook.Strong and competent SAP user (Preferred).Previous warehouse experience is preferred, especially in a medical device or highly regulated setting.Ability to operate forklifts along with other warehouse equipment such as Pallet Trucks and Wrappers.Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed using equipment if necessary.Have a clean (B) driver's License.Attention to detail, ability to follow procedures and adhere to all Health and safety requirements.CompetenciesValues: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork
