Material Distribution Handler II (Days) 11 Month Contract Our Material Handlers work at the heart of operations in Clonmel building the products that help to change lives.

We are offering an 11-month fixed term contract to work on day shift across its manufacturing lines.
Purpose Performs manual and clerical duties, which may utilize computers in the preparation of materials, supplies, and equipment for shipment.
Involves distribution of finished goods to be packaged and sent to recipients.
Responsibilities Transacts product from internal and external customers into SAP using barcode scanner.
Transports material (e.g., production and non-production materials) upon request, using a forklift, pallet truck to the designated location.
Pick, pack and process orders based on a weekly ship calendar.
Verifies order accuracy prior to posting the goods.
Support adhoc and urgent shipments.
Creates commercial invoices to support the shipment of non-SAP product.
Back up for other areas of the outbound process including processing SRs.
Removes cartons using a lifting aid from conveyor and sort per country and carrier.
Build pallet configurations suitable for international travel.
Records shipment information on GTS.
Examines shipment cartons/pallets at the time of pick up to ensure no damage and all appropriate labelling and documentation is present.
Support localisation and Customisation activities through Globe.
Adhering to assigned work instructions.
Experience and Qualifications Leaving Certificate with passed subjects to Include Maths & English or Fetac Level 5.
Warehouse experience desired.
SAP experience desired but not essential.
Experience of processing handling units and creating transport units required.
Good communication skills.
Needs to be able to work on own initiative.
Strong aptitude for operating equipment in a GMP environment.
Have the ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate a strong motivation towards teamwork.
Must have demonstrated computer literacy.
Excellent attention to detail.
Must be flexible, highly motivated and committed with the ability to deliver results by taking the initiative and taking pride in consistently delivering high quality work on time.
Be a self-starter, a quick learner and have a positive and enthusiastic attitude whilst driving our continuous improvement culture.
