Nordex is looking to recruit a Materials Co-Ordinator to join our team in Loanhead, Edinburgh on a 12 month fixed term basis.
How you can make a difference?
The Materials Co-ordinator plays a vital role in supporting our teams by ordering materials, parts and co-ordinating the delivery of these orders to over 40 different locations across our UK and Ireland Network.
What will you be doing?
This is a busy role, where some of the responsibilities include: Ordering spare parts, maintenance materials and tooling from our central warehouse in Germany when requested by our UK and Ireland network.
Picking stock in our warehouse to dispatch to our network Ensuring any orders reach our teams in a timely manner.
Monitoring stock levels to ensure availability of required parts.
Participation in stock audits Managing costs to ensure stock levels are appropriate.
What are we looking for?
Ideally you will have experience of working in a similar role within inventory management or stock control and have significant experience of working with databases and Excel.
If you have worked with SAP or JD Edwards systems that would be a bonus but isn't essential Adaptability is key to this role as you will need to be able to prioritise your work and have strong organisational skills to ensure you can meet any tight deadlines.
You will need to hold a full UK driving licence as there may be a need to travel to different Nordex offices on an ad hoc basis.
If you have a current forklift truck driving licence, that would be an advantage but is not essential.
