Lineworker Engineer/Technical Cork Permanent PART 1: Role Details Role Title Lineworker Department ESB Reports To Contracts Manager Location Cork PART 2: Role Purpose Responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical power systems, such as poles, transformers and transmission lines, ensuring electrical power is delivered safely, and maintaining power lines' integrity.

Ensuring you are responsible for yourself and/or team members who report into you Adhere to instructions issued by Person in Charge of Work (PICW) Report good catches/near misses in a timely manner Inspecting and repairing power lines and related equipment Installing and maintaining electrical power systems Climbing poles and working at heights Operating and maintaining tools and equipment Responding to emergencies, such as power outages PART 4: Person Specification Education/Qualifications Have all relevant Approvals / Certification Full Clean Driving license Experience Previous related experience required Skills & Competencies (evidence of) Technical Ability to read and understand the Electricity Network Diagram A strong understanding of project health and safety requirements Interpersonal Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills required Ability to work as part of a team Personal Ability to climb wooden ESB poles / Steel Towers ACT 2
