What You Need to Know Matrix Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Corporate Actions Operations Supervisor to join our client, a leading global, financial services provider based in Limerick.
This is a senior role that involves overseeing the performance of corporate action and income event activities for multiple regions.
You will help lead a small team, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of events, while driving efficiency and collaboration across departments.
This is a 12 month contract role with some possibility of other opportunities coming up at the end of the contract.
The role offers a hybrid working model.
Your New Job Key duties and responsibilities: Oversee the preparation, processing, and execution of corporate action events, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Ensure dividend entitlements are correctly reflected across all fund administration locations.
Monitor and review outsourced activities to maintain consistency and control across locations.
Lead and develop the team, managing task allocation and ensuring workload distribution is efficient.
Handle client issues proactively and ensure successful resolutions.
Complete error reporting to a high standard and implement preventative measures within deadlines.
Oversee offshore service levels to ensure high-quality delivery.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across serviced fund administration locations.
Establish a high level of corporate action knowledge within the team, ensuring all reporting requirements are met.
Continuously identify and implement process improvements to support evolving products and services.
Collaborate with other business units to maintain strong relationships.
Lead fund administration service calls and reporting.
Ensure all team procedures are kept up to date and reviewed annually.
What Are We Looking For?
5 years+ experience in the funds industry, with strong procedural and regulatory knowledge.
Demonstrable communication and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.
Customer-focused approach with a strong commitment to quality control and service excellence.
Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
Proven problem-solving abilities and the capacity to own and resolve complex issues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Experience with SunGards Invest One Enterprise Fund Administration system is advantageous.
Working knowledge of Bloomberg and IDS online systems is highly desirable.
