We are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the client's team in Limerick.
This is a permanent role in a friendly and dynamic company that offers excellent opportunities for career development, supported by a structured mentoring system.
As part of our close-knit team, you will work on a broad range of projects across multiple sectors, including Healthcare, Residential, Education, Commercial, and Industrial and Pharma.
Responsibilities: Deliver a variety of projects from concept to completion in conjunction with the wider team.Design mechanical services for a range of projects, ensuring adherence to all relevant guidelines, regulations, and standards.Lead and mentor a team of Junior Engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.Engage directly with clients, representing the company in client-facing roles.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.Requirements: Minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services.Level 8/9 degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services with a strong background in design engineering.Experience in designing mechanical services for Healthcare, Residential, Education, Commercial, and Industrial projects.Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit MEP and Building Services Design Software.Strong knowledge of Energy-Efficient Design and renewable energy solutions.Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Full current driver's license and access to your own vehicle.Benefits: Negotiable salary (DOE).Hybrid or fully remote after 6 months.Friendly, flexible working environment.Company Pension Scheme.Life and long-term illness cover.25 days of annual leave.Paid professional membership fees.CPD Programme with ongoing support and mentoring.This is a huge opportunity for someone to further develop and grow in their career as there is real support for further development and training, while also having a focus on well-being/work-life balance.
