Mechanical Engineer - Building Services

Our client, a progressive Building Services Engineering Consultancy practice, has a proven track record of delivering award-winning low energy building designs and energy projects across various sectors. They are currently expanding and seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join their team at the Dublin office. This role involves working within a collaborative team environment, leading projects, and engaging with clients.
Responsibilities: Assist the design team in delivering projects across commercial, civic and cultural, educational, and healthcare sectors.Develop project scope with the design team and clients, including budgeting and reporting.Support team leads in resource management and planning to ensure successful project delivery.Provide detailed tender packages and monitor installation/quality on-site until project completion.Take an active role in project delivery from concept to completion.Present and communicate ideas effectively with clients, architects, and project managers.Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive project execution.Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed reports on project progress.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout project lifecycles.Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Requirements: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Minimum of 2 years' experience within an engineering practice.Proven experience in project delivery from concept stage to completion.Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech; proficiency in REVIT is an advantage.Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take the next step in their career with a leading consultancy in the building services engineering industry.
