Are you a Mechanical Engineer looking to join a dynamic and progressive engineering company?
Rockwell are currently recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to join our team on a permanent & full-time basis in the North Dublin / Meath area.
Duties and Responsibilities: Reporting to the Project Manager and Lead Engineer, the Mechanical Engineer will work on one of our key projects and assist in carrying the project through to successful completion.
Analyse and troubleshoot engineering issues, proposing, and implementing solutions under the guidance of more experienced team members.
Learn and apply problem-solving methodologies to address technical challenges, including information technology systems.
Assist in quality control by engaging in design reviews and inspections, utilizing AR and VR technologies such as Microsoft HoloLens.
Assist in the identification and resolution of issues related to design and manufacturing.
Ensure that engineering designs comply with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with senior engineers to address compliance-related considerations.
Support communication with clients by providing updates on project progress and addressing client inquiries under the guidance of senior team members.
Develop effective communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
Assist in coordinating project activities, ensuring tasks are completed within the established timelines.
Develop project management expertise and actively participate in planning initiatives.
Possess strong collaboration skills to coordinate effectively with site teams, BIM teams and external contractors.
Ability to complete comprehensive material and equipment take-offs Comfortable using AutoCAD Mechanical.
Knowledge of the procurement process.
Possess a comprehensive understanding of construction safety legislation.
Essential Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Experience: Relevant third level qualification in Mechanical / Building Services Have a minimum of 1-2 years of industry experience Have knowledge of Revit & BIM software systems.
Be comfortable in your use of Microsoft Office.
Be conscientious, have excellent attention to detail and an ability to multitask.
Have a positive attitude with a passion to learn & succeed, an energetic approach and an ability to take accountability.
The ability to contribute comfortably as part of a team.
