RT Lane Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Project Engineer for a Pharmaceutical company based in Carlow. This is an 11-month contract. The ideal candidate for this position will have prior project experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the entire lifecycle from scope development and design to construction, installation, qualification and handover to operations. Potential candidates should have a successful track record of delivering engineering projects. Equipment experience e.g. Plant steam boilers, CTUs, freezers, WFI, Clean Steam, compressed air, HVAC, fume hoods, BSCs, F-gas regulations. Candidates must have the ability to take charge of multiple projects onsite, overseeing their entire lifecycle from scope development, design, build/installation, and qualification to the handover to operations for key engineering projects. Develop project scope, cost estimation, and delivery schedules in collaboration with the Site Engineering team and system SMEs. Qualifications and Education Bachelors Degree or higher preferred; ideally in science, engineering or other technical discipline. Pharmaceutical environment or GMP environment experience is essential Green Belt experience.
