Medforce Healthcare Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join a newly built, luxurious nursing home with 111 residential beds, dedicated to providing exceptional care for the elderly in Co. Cork.
The ADON will collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) and the Healthcare Manager, serving as a key member of the senior management team within the hospital.
This role involves ensuring clear communication and direction across teams and deputising for the DON as needed.
Requirements Currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) on the register of nurses held by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland or be entitled to be so registered.
Minimum 3 years of relevant ADON or acting ADON experience is desirable.
Have depth knowledge of the ageing process.
Post - registration management qualification.
Qualification in Gerontology and/or Dementia would be desirable.
Demonstrate an ability to embrace change and be committed to continuous improvement and learning throughout the residential care home.
Working knowledge of HIQA standards, procedures, and guidelines.
Have the skill to influence others, build constructive relationships and achieve outcomes.
Appreciation of finance issues.
