Medforce Healthcare Recruitment is hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager to join the team of nurses for the newly purpose-built luxury nursing home with modern facilities, a landscaped garden, and a wide range of services and recreational activities located in Co. Cork.
This role requires a blend of clinical expertise, project management, service management, and a commitment to continuing education and professional development.
The Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) will be responsible for upholding high standards of resident care, always ensuring the safety of both residents and staff.
Additionally, the CNM will promote a learning environment to support the development of all staff levels, while fostering a collaborative team culture across our specialist care services.
These services include care for the elderly, Dementia/Alzheimers care, step-down care, and convalescence care.
Requirements Currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) on the register of nurses held by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland or be entitled to be so registered.
Candidate must have 3 years of post - registration nursing experience with elderly care.
Minimum 1 year of CNM experience desirable but not essential.
Experience in geriatric nursing care/psychiatry/adult disabled.
Working Knowledge of HIQA standards, procedures, and guidelines.
Have a detailed knowledge of rostering and managing the rostering arrangements and leave planning for stuff.
Possess an in - depth knowledge of the Mental Health Commission requirements, leadership and governance.
Energetic individual with solid clinical experience in working with a team of diverse clinicians and strong knowledge of the concepts and operations of Clinical Governance.
Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development.
