This company is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working News Analyst to join the team! This role manages multiple accounts and daily deliverables that help their clients to identify pertinent trends in their news coverage. In addition to conducting analysis, News Analysts also ensure account quality, lead account-specific trainings, and assist cross-departmental teams on day-to-day client relations. This person should be a self-starter, deadline-oriented, enjoy a dynamic work environment, thrive in high-pressure situations, and have a keen eye for details and quality. This position is a hybrid position based in either our Dublin /Cavan or the Waterford offices. Responsibilities Utilize our in-house technology to prioritize and analyze daily domestic and international news for clients Curate daily customized client newsletters, highlighting significant company and stakeholder mentions as well as industry trends Manage our internal account resources to provide accurate, qualitative insights to teams and clients Develop and lead account-specific trainings based on client preferences Collaborate with Associate Analysts, other Media Analysts, Reporting Specialists, and the Strategic Partnerships team to achieve customer goals and provide in-depth media analysis Job Requirements Undergraduate degree, preferably in communications, journalism, public relations, English, or business Strong reading comprehension, interpersonal communication, time management, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage and analyze large amounts of media coverage and succinctly communicate trends and insights Intellectual curiosity, accountability, a sense of humor, and a team player Located near one of our offices with the ability to be in office 2-3 days per week Nice to Haves A background in media or communications sector A passion for reading the news and staying up to date with current events Skills: media analyst news analyst politics
