Medical Device Contracts & Tenders Specialist

Package: €45k – €60k Basic (Dependent on Experience & Open to Negotiation) Annual Bonus (5%) Pension (5%/5% Increasing to 8%) Life Assurance & Disability Benefits 22 Days Plus Public Holidays Paid Annual Leave (Grows after Years service in line with Company Policy) Role: Contracts & Tenders Specialist will manage the administrative, technical and commercial aspects of the tendering and contract process, ensuring the production of quality submissions, tailored to the requirements of individual clients and producing the best possible bid for the company.
Further, this role will lead to the efficient and compliant execution of all tendering activities in accordance with relevant procurement standards and regulations, then tracking their status and execution ensuring alignment to strict project deadlines.
Duties: Manage end-to-end tender processes and Request for Proposals (RFPs) Proactively manage the tender from start to finish, using a project management approach, in collaboration with the field based commercial organisation, business support, operations, quality, regulatory, finance and marketing Follow all SOP processes Work with relevant commercial leads to ensure all prices are complete and authorised Develop and maintain the tender library and contract resources to bring greater efficiency and rigor to the tender and contract authoring process Provision of insight and guidance on tender response strategies Work closely with other relevant internal business partners to evolve a value proposition which demonstrates all current value offerings Produce tender summaries for use by internal teams Provide commercial teams with effective pricing analysis to support business critical decisions Experience: Third Level Degree Min 2 Years Experience in Tendering within Medical Device Sales to Irish / UK / European Healthcare (Hospitals Etc) Solid understanding of healthcare market dynamics within Ireland preferable Personal Characteristics: Leadership: The successful individual will be strategic in approach, taking full ownership of the process and driving for results using effective communication using project management skills Time Management: The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic with an emphasis on adhering to strict deadlines Partnership: The successful candidate will have a collaborative style capable of developing relationships based on trust with multiple stakeholders both internal and external to add value to our organisation Commercial Agility: The candidate will display keen commercial and analytical insights in healthcare markets, customer base and the different dynamics of the territories across the 32 counties of Ireland
