Medical Science Liaison Officer - CNS Location : Hybrid, with travel (Covering Ireland – North and Republic, ideally within commuting distance of Dublin).
Role Overview We are currently recruiting a Medical Science Liaison Officer focused on the CNS and Migraine therapeutic areas.
This role provides non-promotional scientific support to healthcare professionals and upholds high standards of medical, scientific, and technical expertise.
Responsibilities As an MSLO, you will: Develop Expertise in CNS/Migraine : Build and maintain an advanced knowledge of CNS and migraine treatments, therapies, and the competitive landscape.
Provide Scientific Support : Establish credible relationships with clinicians, local decision-makers, and academic centers, ensuring all engagements are scientifically accurate and up to date.
Stay Compliant : Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, including the IPHA Code of Practice and relevant pharmacovigilance requirements.
Build Knowledge of Healthcare Systems : Develop insights into the structure of the NHS and HSE, applying this knowledge to support clinical decisions and formulary processes.
Engage with Medical and Marketing Teams : Collaborate effectively with internal Medical Information and Marketing departments to support product and educational needs.
Prepare and Present Scientific Data : Produce and update scientific presentations, respond to medical inquiries from healthcare professionals, and represent the organization at key national and international congresses.
Support Educational and Promotional Initiatives : Develop and review materials against the IPHA Code of Practice, train non-scientific team members, and engage in educational activities with expert speakers and faculty.
Assist in Study Approvals : Work with clinical investigators and navigate internal processes for study approvals to support CNS research initiatives.
What You Bring Qualifications & Skills Advanced degree in Pharmacy or a relevant scientific/medical field (PhD preferred).
Previous experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a related field-based role within the pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable.
Knowledge and experience in the CNS/migraine therapy area is an advantage.
Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and project management.

Willingness to travel across the assigned territory, with overnight stays as needed, and to travel internationally as required.
