Job Title: Medical Social Worker Location: North Dublin
Contract: Permanent – Full Time
A rehabilitation hospital in North Dublin is seeking an experienced Medical Social Worker to join its team. The hospital supports patients recovering from acute hospital stays, focusing on rehabilitation for orthopaedic and older patients, helping them return to independent living.
Responsibilities: Provide social work services to patients and families, including assessments, interventions, and discharge planning. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team on patient care plans. Manage caseloads and maintain accurate records. Build effective relationships with clients and relevant agencies. Requirements: CORU registration National Qualification in Social Work (NQSW) or equivalent Permission to work in Ireland Desirable: Hospital experience and knowledge of relevant care schemes (Fair Deal, Home Care). 1-2 years of experience preferred. Salary:
€48,624 - €70,235 (HSE Oct 2024 scale)
