Position: Member Service Officer
Contract: Permanent Contract (37 Hours)
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Location: Drumcondra – Dublin 9
Renumeration: €25,000-€35,000 depending on relevant experience. Defined contribution occupational pension scheme.
ANSAC Credit Union is an industrial credit union with over 7,000 members. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Member Service Officer to join our team.
Role DescriptionReporting to the CEO and Operations Manager, this role will have a variety of duties within the credit union. Such duties include:
Serving members through multiple channels i.e., telephone, online or over the counter.Looking after all aspects of loan administration, ensuring safekeeping of credit agreements and other relevant documentation and practising good CDD.Dealing with member queries on our products and services.Processing transactions in an efficient and accurate manner.Refer loan applications to the appropriate loans officer.Operate within the risk & compliance framework of ANSAC Credit Union and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.Completing other duties as assigned to include a range of administrative and organisational tasks as delegated by the line manager.The ideal candidate will haveExperience working in a frontline role with the public - credit union or similar financial institution experience would be an advantage but not essential.The successful candidate will be required to satisfy the minimum competency requirements as set out in the Central Bank Guidelines (QFA/CUA(Loans)/APA in Loans/Pathways CU Diploma/ACCUP). The Credit Union will provide financial support for the successful candidate to obtain this qualification if they do not have it currently.Team worker with strong communication and organisational skills.Excellent analytical & decision-making skills.Member focused, friendly with an excellent telephone manner.Ability to work to deadlines and can prioritise tasks.Willingness to be flexible and take on new tasks and projects.Experience of the Progress Banking System would be an advantage.Please apply by CV and cover letter to: ******
