Member Services OfficerMalahide & District Credit Union Ltd Location: 4 Main Street, Malahide, Co Dublin.
Reporting to: CEO
Contract Status: Permanent- Part-Time Contract 17.5 Hours.
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday
General Scope of the RoleThe Member Services Officer will be accountable to CEO for carrying out a range of administrative and operational activities that contribute to the effective running of the credit union.
Main Purpose of the RoleThe role holder is required to assist members with all aspects of Credit Union Business while working as part of a team to provide support in dealing with:
Account transactionsAccount queriesMember applicationsLoan applicationsInsurance ServicesThe ideal candidate will have:Good IT skillsExcellent administration skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience working in a frontline role within a credit union or similar financial institutionStrong teamwork abilityQFA or APA Loans qualification desirable (or to be actively working towards obtaining qualification)The Credit Union will provide financial support for the successful candidate to obtain a suitable qualification e.g. APA Loans / QFA where it is not held currentlyThe role holder will be required to satisfy the minimum competency requirements and meet the required fitness and Probity standards as set out by the Central Bank of Ireland's Fitness and Probity Regime for credit unions.
