Join Our Team: Membership Manager - Institute of Designers in IrelandLocation: Dublin, Ireland / Hybrid Organisation: Institute of Designers in Ireland (IDI) Hours: Full time Salary Range: 55,000– 65,000 depending on experience Do you have a proven track record in membership acquisition and retention strategies?

Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive membership acquisition and retention strategies to grow and maintain the institute's membership base. Marketing and communications for all IDI activity, supported by the Member Services Executive and graphic designer (social channels, websites, in-person). Initial project will be a data transformation project to refresh the IDI CRM and website for a better member experience. Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders, educational institutions, and other organisations to expand membership reach. Plan and organise engaging events (online and in-person), workshops, and networking opportunities to enhance member satisfaction and participation. Utilise data analysis and market research to identify trends and opportunities for membership growth and engagement.
Develop KPIs against which to target membership growth. Collaborate with other team members to ensure alignment of membership initiatives with organisational goals and objectives - such as promotion of events, engagement with Design Skillnet training, sponsorship opportunities. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. Preferably proven experience in membership management, with experience of developing and executing acquisition and retention strategies.
Experience in business development will also be considered. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences. Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities, with a track record of driving results through data-driven decision-making. Keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, hybrid working environment. A keen interest in the design industry and a commitment to advancing the interests of design professionals. Flexibility to work occasional evenings in support of member events.
Some member events may take place outside of Dublin. Driver's licence is advantageous. Why Join Us?
