MEP Design Manager- Dublin Competitive Salary + Package + Transport + Bonus + Pension Our client, a Tier contractor Operating on a nationwide basis, is urgently seeking an experienced MEP Design Manager.
Our client is very busy within the Data centre sector and this role offers the successful applicants an opportunity to work on the latest Hyperscale and Technology Systems.
As MEP Design Manager you are responsible for leading and managing the design of MEP systems including coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring designs meet the client specifications, regulatory standards, and project timelines.
This role is based in Dublin however some WFH is available as a small team already exists.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements: * Lead, manage, and develop the MEP design team, ensuring all project deliverables are met on time and within the budget.
* Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and integrated design solutions.
* Evaluate and approve MEP design documents, including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
* Carry out regular design reviews and audits to identify and address any issues ensuring high standards of design and engineering.
* Ensure that all designs are thoroughly tested and validated before implementation.
* Resolve any design-related issues that arise during the construction phase.
* Prepare and maintain accurate & complete documentation for all MEP design activities, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
* Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
* 8+ years post qualification experience with 3-4 years on Data centre projects.
* Strong proficiency in MEP design software & tools with the ability to interpret designs effectively.
* In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, engineering principles, and industry standards.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Detail-oriented with strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
