Description Due to the ongoing expansion of our Dynamics and Power Platform Practice, we are looking to recruit an experienced Dynamics 365 Lead Functional Consultant to service both our existing client base and new customer implementations with a geographic focus on the Republic of Ireland.
The Role The role will include the following responsibilities:
Engage with customers to help to define project needs. Assist the business teams in modelling as-is & to-be processes and in identifying issues and opportunities for improvement. Liaise with business owners, business analysts and the development team to resolve functional and non-functional questions arising from the requirements. Work with Business owners, the Business Analyst Team and technical IT Development teams to understand fully the business requirement and document accordingly. Work on existing Dynamics 365 and Power Platform projects to enhance configurations and customisations. Work on tasks identified in technical design, implementing the relevant configuration or customisation changes. Play a part in User Acceptance Testing, Regression testing and post Go-Live testing. Manage and measure solution benefits mapped to the business case. Ensure systems and changes are smoothly transitioned into operation including, supporting documentation, and required user training. Prepare and conduct training programmes for end user training. Collaborate with the Project Manager on leading the delivery of the projects assigned. Mentor and lead Functional Consultant teams. The Person The ideal candidate will:
Have a proven track record on successful delivery of large-scale projects in key roles, such as Lead Functional Consultant or Lead Project Manager. Have a proven track record of team leadership, having managed and mentored colleagues in the Functional Consultancy role. Be able to autonomously lead the delivery of large-scale projects, as a functional consultant as well as supporting other roles throughout the delivery of the project. Be involved in designing and building high quality, well tested solutions for external clients to help solve their business challenges using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. Be capable of understanding customer business requirements, converting these into platform solution options and clearly explaining to the customer how their requirement is mapped to a customised platform solution. Essential Experience Understanding of technical concepts – including data modelling. In-depth experience in preparing and conducting business analysis workshops. Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft business systems stack, specifically Dynamics CRM and Power Platform. Solid experience customizing solutions, leveraging Microsoft technologies such as Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, including:
Power Apps Model Driven Canvas Portals Power Automate Solid experience demonstrating Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions. Proven track-record of mentoring and leading teams of Functional Consultants. Previous experience with Azure DevOps. Desired Experience Qualification in Computer Science/Business Information Systems, or a comparable qualification with the corresponding professional experience. Previous experience with Agile methodologies. Previous experience delivering Marketing Solutions (such as Click Dimensions and Microsoft Marketing). Previous experience leading the delivery of Software projects (e.g., as the project manager). Candidates with active Microsoft certifications will be looked upon favourably. Skills / Competencies Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
