Mixed Vet Required In Cork Up To 70K

Details of the offer

Our client is seeking a Mixed Vet with some experience, but exceptional new graduate candidates will be considered as mentoring and support is available. They pride themselves on being an independent, progressive practice, with a collaborative approach to cases encouraged. They believe in practicing good medicine in every case, even if it takes a little longer.
The practice is 60% large (mainly dairy) and 40% (and growing) small animal, with no equine work. All their mixed vets do a bit of everything, but there is scope for further pursuing your own interests, be they small or large animal based.
They believe in good support being available night and day, whether you are 1 year or 10 years qualified, so they always make sure an experienced vet (usually one of the partners in the practice) is designated for back-up duties when you are on-call.
In addition to an excellent work-life balance, they offer a CPD budget, paid professional fees, and time off in lieu for weekends worked. They have a well-organised rota (1 in 6) so that you can plan your downtime in advance. In their Springtime rota, our vets get the day off after a night on call.
Salary package commensurate with experience, ranging from €40,000 - €70,000 depending on experience.
They are located 50 minutes from Cork City and 25 minutes from Killarney, providing opportunities for a good social life.
