FX Payments Senior Specialist Morgan McKinley have partnered with a prestigious Dublin based Investment Bank who are now looking to recruit an FX Payments Senior Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis.
Working as part of a wider, dynamic team which acts as the funnel into the Front Office, successful candidates will act as a Senior SME in relation to FX Payments, SWIFT messaging and significant risks as they arise.
Responsibilities Managing trades on in-house platforms.
Involvement in project management activities related to fund launches and trade support.
Provide frontline feedback to Client Strategy and broader process improvement functions.
Preparing reports for management and internal committees.
Manage the maintenance of SSI data in various systems for new and existing clients.
Acting as the main escalation point for fixed income trade related queries e.g.significant risks/exceptions that may arise.
Provide prompt and accurate responses to inquiries, escalating when necessary.
Achieve a service standard of error free processing by ensuring accurate inputting of data to mitigate regulatory/operational risk.
Co-ordinate with Senior Management to ensure distribution of work and management of team mailbox are efficiently handled and prioritized to ensure quality and efficiency.
Assist Manager with establishing a training schedule for respective roles in the team.
Provide training to team members on best practices.
Requirements Extensive knowledge of capital market products with a strong focus on FX and Fixed Income.
Prior experience with SWIFT Messaging.
Previous managerial experience advantageous but not essential.
Middle Office systems experience covering Murex platforms.
Ability to effectively train team members.
Strong communications skills with a proven ability to share FX / SWIFT knowledge and understanding.
