Morgan McKinley is delighted to support a Cork company who are seeking an EMEA VAT Lead to join the team.

Key Responsibilities: Review and approve VAT returns prepared by the team Prepare VAT returns for key entities Support and participate in multi-country indirect tax audits and tax authority requests Collaborate with internal stakeholders on indirect tax matters Lead projects related to indirect tax, such as integrations, new entity setups, and automation initiatives Develop and maintain efficient internal processes Perform reconciliations between VAT filings, accounting records, and tax account statements Support the VAT refund process Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation Perform ad-hoc tax tasks as needed Qualifications and Skills: Minimum 5 years of experience in indirect tax compliance, with a focus on European countries, particularly Switzerland, The Netherlands, and Spain Strong understanding of VAT regulations and best practices Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Experience with ERP systems is preferred What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional development and career growth Collaborative and supportive work environment Flexible work arrangements If you're passionate about indirect tax and eager to contribute to a global organization, reach out today for more information.
