Morgan Mckinley | Site Engineer - Donegal

We are seeking a Site Engineer to join our client's team for a high-profile civil infrastructure project in Donegal.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in the management and supervision of the construction site to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
Perform daily site inspections, ensuring that work is carried out in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth site operations.
Monitor and report on progress, providing updates to the Project Manager.
Ensure all work is documented, and maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and measurements.
Help with the preparation and review of risk assessments, method statements, and health and safety plans.
Interpret and implement design drawings and technical specifications on-site.
Resolve any site-related issues or challenges promptly to minimize delays and ensure project continuity.
Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
At least 2 years of experience as a Site Engineer, preferably with experience in roadworks, utilities, or other civil works.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices on construction sites.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Full driving license and flexibility to work at different site locations as required.
