Job Overview: The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for performing administrative duties related to warehouse operations, including inventory tracking, order processing, data entry, and maintaining accurate records.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments within the company.
Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Monitor and update inventory records, ensuring stock levels are accurate and that discrepancies are reported to the Warehouse Manager.
Order Processing: Assist with the processing of customer orders, including preparing shipping documents and labels, tracking shipments, and managing order fulfillment.
Data Entry: Input and update warehouse data into the inventory management system, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all information.
Shipping & Receiving: Assist in managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation is completed and that all materials are received in good condition.
Stock Audits: Help coordinate periodic stock audits and assist with cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
Documentation & Reporting: Generate regular reports on inventory levels, order status, and warehouse performance.
Maintain and file important documents related to inventory, shipping, and receiving.
Coordination & Communication: Act as a liaison between warehouse staff, procurement, customer service, and other departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies regarding the handling and storage of goods in the warehouse.
Support Warehouse Operations: Provide administrative support to the Warehouse Manager, including scheduling, preparing reports, and assisting with special projects as needed.
Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
and experience with warehouse management software (WMS) is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
