Motor Technician

Job Title: Technician at Spirit Motor Group Location: Spirit Foster, Blackthorn Close, Stillorgan Business Park, Sandyford, Dublin 18.
Hours of Work: Working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday We are looking to hire a qualified car technician to work in our modern well equipped facilities in Sandyford, Dublin 18.
You will be: Servicing vehicles to the highest standards of the Spirit Motor Group as well as the manufacturers specifications and guidelines Diagnosing, testing and repairing faults using the latest technologies Up to date training in relevant technologies as the brands evolve, upgrade and grow the range and models Liaising with the service desk to communicate requirements, additional parts and repairs on customer vehicles.
Working as part of a team, supporting the training of apprentices and helping colleagues.
Skills and experience: Fully qualified technician with experience Ability to diagnose, test and repair faults using the latest technology.
Experience working with any of our brands including VW, Skoda, Seat, Cupra, will be an advantage.
Experience working with EV and PHEV vehicles is not essential but an advantage Attention to detail when completing documentation and IT systems Be literate, numerate with fluent written & spoken English and good communication skills Full, valid, clean driving licence Fully authorised to live and work in Ireland Good knowledge and understanding of health and safety practices in the industry Skills: Vehicle Mechanics Vehicle Inspection Vehicle Maintenance Vehicle Repair Motor vehicle Vehicle Diagnostics Benefits: Performance Bonus Pension Fund
