JOB TITLE: MULTI-SKILLED SERVICE PARTNER - SHIPPING REPORTS INTO: SHIPPING LEAD ABOUT THE ROLE: A multi-disciplinary role supporting the shipping function and facilities management within a central Dublin office.
Delivering day to day support to ensure the smooth running of our service whilst providing an exceptional customer experience within our Client sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Receive, count and verify all incoming parcels and deliveriesLogging all packages and bulk shipments into the package tracking system and distributing mail across the site using a scan and sign systemWith training, using the X-Ray machine to scan all incoming mailProcessing, sorting, and staging packages for deliveryPreparing outgoing shipments with appropriate shipping documentation and collaborating with relevant teams to get all documentation and approvalsRecording shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availabilityManaging same day shipments to ensure they are delivered within the expected timeCoordinating special shipping requests and working with management for relevant approvalsMaintaining export compliance records, as required and coordinating export compliance issuesReporting damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record keepingWorking as part of the multi-service team: Supporting Events, Mailroom, Facilities and Moves, Adds and Changes (MAC) where neededWorking in accordance with health and safety measures and promoting best practice amongst colleagues, contractors and vendorsConducting risk assessments and following safety protocolsProviding back up support to the facilities manager on a day-to-day basisWORKING LIFE: On a daily basis you will be working across a large office siteThe main business language spoken in our offices is English.
