Saint John of God Community Mental Health Services, Cluain Mhurie Services Cluain Mhuire is a national center of innovation in public mental health service provision delivering a community based adult mental health service for the South East Coast of Co. Dublin to a catchment area of some 182,000 people approximately.
In addition to general adult mental health services, Cluain Mhuire provides early intervention in psychosis, ADHD, gender and general hospital mental health services.
NON-CONSULTANT HOSPITAL DOCTOR IN PSYCHIATRY (SHO/ REGISTRAR LEVEL) CLUAIN MHUIRE ADULT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES Fixed Term from JAN 2024 to JUL 2025 (possibility of extension) Role Summary This post will be in the area of general adult inpatient and community psychiatry. The post is an ideal opportunity if you are interested in enhancing a career in psychiatry and expanding your experience by working in a top class clinical and academic environment. You will be well supported by multidisciplinary colleagues. Cluain Mhuire is a teaching centre for RCSI students and NCHD's.
The successful applicant will be expected to participate fully in the active teaching program and to participate in clinical audit. Minimum Requirements A degree in medicine is a basic requirement.
All applicants must be currently registered with the Irish Medical Council (IMC). Previous experience in psychiatry is preferable.
Experience of working in the Irish health care system is desirable.
Candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria with regard to immigration status, English language skills and the minimum educational entry criteria for the speciality and level as set out in the specification. Remuneration Salary Grade1012 (Senior House Officer) and 1538 (Registrar) on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale €52,614 - €78,748 per annum pro rata Initial location The initial location of this role is Cluain Mhuire Services Blackrock However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS's other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require.
