Purpose of the Role CHI leads in the provision of Neonatology services for babies in Ireland.

The appointed person will work across the two CHI hospital sites of Temple Street and Crumlin.
He / she will be responsible for planning, developing, organising, implementing and evaluating foundation training in Neonatal High Dependency nursing, using evidence-based practice in collaboration with the relevant clinical and University support and assessment.
Essential Criteria: Candidates must be registered in the Children's division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland RCN/RN Child branch with 5 years Post Graduate experience or RGN with 5 years acute paediatric experience 5 years post registration experience relative to the speciality Higher/Graduate Diploma relative to the speciality BSc in Nursing Experience in the Supervision of staff and student Experience and knowledge of the recognition and management of the acutely ill neonate, including but not limited to pre and post-operative care.
