As a Network Development Engineer working in AWS Networking you will have end-to-end ownership (architecture/design/scale) of our current and newly developing networks.
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. The Amazon Direct Connect team delivers solutions that make it easy for customers to establish a dedicated network connection from their premises to the AWS cloud. These connections help to reduce network costs, increase bandwidth throughput, and provide a more consistent network experience than Internet-based connections. This is increasingly achieved through automation, a 24x7 team, and a deep understanding of multiple fabrics to never leave a packet behind. There is an operational on-call rotation in this team.

Minimum RequirementsExperience with internet routing protocols and concepts.Experience with network operating systems such as Cisco IOS and Junos.Experience in automation via Bash/shell scripting and Perl/Python programming.Bachelor's Degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience to a Bachelor's degree.
