Network Engineer Contract Cork 11 Months.
My client, a global leader in their space, is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Network Engineer to join their team on a contract for 11 months with the possibility of extension or permanency.

Candidates will be expected to:
Work with the manager to create rack layouts & port map documents.Guide the client's Lab team on the installation of new switches & servers.Cable new switches & servers, initialize the client server iDrac.Configure Top of Rack networking switches as per my client's standards.Integrate the client's servers with VxRail lab provisioning services.Deploy VM on management cluster and create DHCP services.Work with my client Cyber Security if they need firewall ports open in the lab.Update documentation - network design doc, rack layouts, port maps.Perform network switch backups and network monitoring. Successful candidates will have:
Networking experience, CCNA level, 2-3 years of hands-on & troubleshooting experience.VMware, VCA/VCP level, 2-3 years of hands-on & troubleshooting experience.General lab know-how, can cable, trace cables, and troubleshoot at the physical layer.
