Job Title: Network Facilities Manager Location:  Limerick/Hybrid Job Type:  6 month contract   Job Summary:   The Network Facilities Manager is responsible for the overall maintenance and management of co-location/high site facilities and grounds.
This role ensures compliance with customers and Department of Communications obligations, overseeing maintenance programs for HVAC, generators, fire suppression systems, battery backups, and DC systems.
The manager will also handle the design, build, and operational handover of new or expanded co-location/high site/data center facilities.
This job is based in Limerick and will include travel to sites.
  Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain co-location/high site facilities and grounds in line with customer and Department of Communications obligations.
Oversee maintenance programs for HVAC, generators, fire suppression systems, battery backups, and DC systems.
Manage the design, build, and operational handover of new co-location/high site/data center facilities or expansions.
Develop and maintain performance management systems, ensuring KPI targets for network facilities are met and exceeded.
Ensure Preventative Maintenance (PPM) for co-locations and wireless sites via third parties is completed and reported in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Address PPM remedies in a cost-effective and timely manner, aligned with risk management protocols.
Provide reports for the Department of Communications as required under the concession agreement.
Drive end-of-life network facilities equipment replacement programs to completion.
Manage and control the network facilities budget.
Ensure high-quality standards for physical equipment installation/decommissioning at co-location/high site/data center sites, including racks, cabling, and patching.
Manage contractors in line with Health & Safety Management Systems.
  Skills and Experience: Proven experience in facilities management, particularly in network or data center environments.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, generators, fire suppression systems, battery backups, and DC systems.
Excellent project management skills, with experience in design, build, and operational handover of facilities.
Ability to develop and maintain performance management systems and exceed KPI targets.
Strong budget management skills.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Knowledge of health and safety management systems.
