About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced Network Operations Engineer to play a key role in our technology-driven future.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference, supporting our mission to provide innovative solutions across our network of stores.
You'll be at the heart of driving change, working closely with teams, retailers, and partners to implement cutting-edge technologies across the Musgrave estate.
The role requires travel to various sites, and although the role is based in Dublin, we welcome candidates from all over Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities: Technology Implementation & Support: Lead the evaluation, testing, and deployment of innovative technologies in our stores, ensuring systems are always up-to-date and performing at their best.Subject Matter Expert: Serve as a key advisor and expert on retail technologies, working with diverse teams across Musgrave and with external partners.Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Provide hands-on support for in-store technical issues, both remotely and on-site, ensuring seamless operations for retailers.Deployment Processes: Build and refine technical deployment processes, conducting thorough testing and piloting to ensure smooth rollouts.Collaboration with Vendors: Engage with 3rd party vendors to ensure that our technology stack remains relevant, efficient, and cutting-edge.Support & Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation to ensure new technologies are ready for deployment and ongoing support.3rd Line Support: Provide high-level on-site support for retail IT, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.What We're Looking For: Technical Expertise: Juniper Mist JNCIA/JNCIS certification (or equivalent) and hands-on MIST AI implementation experience.Retail IT Knowledge: Strong understanding of the physical and technical environments within retail operations.Problem-Solving: Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues both remotely and on-site.Strong Communicator: Ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, business-friendly language.Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead evaluations, pilot new technologies, and manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Project Management: Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.Relationship Building: Demonstrated success in managing relationships with retailers and vendors to achieve outstanding results.Passion for Growth: A genuine desire to learn, develop, and achieve professional certifications.Perks of Working at Musgrave: Hybrid Working Model: Enjoy flexibility with our "Work Smart" hybrid approach, alternating between remote work and in-office collaboration.Community Focus: Be part of a company that truly values its communities and strives to make a positive impact.Career Development: With a commitment to your personal and professional growth, Musgrave offers numerous opportunities for advancement and learning.Musgrave is an equal opportunities employer.
