We are looking to hire a Network Technician to join our team within network infrastructure deployment. You will work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive the expansion of our next-generation networks. You should be highly autonomous, very detail-oriented, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and have experience supporting large-scale, enterprise-class networks. Excellent network implementation and troubleshooting skills combined with a proven documentation methodology are also required. The desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is essential.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesThe position responsibilities will include scaling support of several data center locations and be responsible for day-to-day assistance with capacity management. As a Network Technician, you will work closely with both internal customers and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution as directed by Technical Program Managers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science; or Certification in a relevant field (CCENT, Network+, CCNA) and up to 2 years of Networking Deployment experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Fluency in English
- Troubleshoot networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including troubleshooting of network device configuration and low-level application interaction.
- Troubleshooting cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Comfort-ability with small to medium and slightly complex project scopes and ambiguous details within the work environment.
- Excellent judgement and analytical skills, ability to prioritize tasks based on fluctuating needs.
- Strong understanding of Ethernet and IP networking.
- Knowledge or awareness of IT best practice frameworks (ITIL, LEAN, AGILE) and Operational Excellence concepts or methodologies is a plus.
