New Directions Policy Compliance Coordinator Day Services Permanent Full Time Post (35 hours per week) Grade V We are recruiting for the above position to coordinate all aspects of compliance with HSE New Directions Interim Policy across our Day Services. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about quality improvement in person-centred services for adults with intellectual disabilities.
The role encompasses; Ongoing implementation of New Directions Interim Standards and further development of continuous quality improvement in Day Services Supporting supervisors and managers to ensure timely, accurate implementation and reporting of quality data Leadership , communication and collaboration with managers, staff and stakeholders to promote a positive and progressive culture of change through continuous quality improvement throughout the day service Collation and analysis of quality and governance data to monitor quality and identify gaps Maintaining key relationships with HSE Review and generation of person- centred documentation, standard operating procedures and audit tools for use on relevant platforms The introduction of auditing systems to monitor person-centred quality improvement Identification, development and delivery of training and education in New Directions for staff and supervisors Collation and analysis of quality and governance data to monitor quality and identify gaps Networking with other Quality Compliance Coordinators across all regions and nationally Report writing as required for management The ideal candidate must have: Relevant experience in the Disability or Social Care Services sector for a minimum of 3 years Relevant 3 rd level (QQI Level 7) qualification in Education/Health / Social Care Management or equivalent.
Strong working knowledge and experience of the HSE New Directions Interim Policy and HSE National Framework for Person Centred Planning for Persons with a Disability A clear vision and understanding of the implementation strategy and future direction for person-centred approaches in adult day services Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication, Strong ICT (Microsoft Office 365, Excel) and proven organisational skills Experience in compiling accurate and timely reports for management Experienced in coordinating audit processes and training staff in consultation with Day Service Management would be an advantage A full clean driving licence and a willingness to drive own car as part of role.
