We currently have a new vacancy for a Newly/Part Qualified Accountant to join the Finance team based in our Head Office in Dublin City Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in a competitive and fast paced retail environment.
In this role you will work on various projects and work closely with many of the teams in Dunnes Stores.
Key Responsibilities: Aid in the preparation of managements accounts and management reports for shareholders under the guidance of senior team members Assist in the preparation of monthly board packs and analytical review Collaborate with senior team members to interpret and report financial information to assist management in decision-making and control Address shareholder queries and provide support in resolving accounting and financial issues Daily and weekly sales reporting and forecasting Provide cross-team support as required Assist relevant teams with budget preparation for Season Assist in the collation and management of department overheads vs budget Assist with different ad-hoc projects within the team and department Experience and Skills Required: Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in an accounting role, either industry or practice Experience of accounting/finance within retail/FMCG companies is desirable, but not essential Newly or nearly qualified ACA, ACCA with a desire to progress to full qualification Experience of budgeting and forecasting Strong systems aptitude with the ability to use MS Office products, in particular excellent knowledge of Excel Oracle Datawarehouse and Power Bi experience would be an advantage Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and adhere to strict deadlines Must be a confident communicator both face to face, on teams, email or phone, with the ability to engage and work with multiple stakeholders Embrace a work ethic that is customer focused and action orientated to deliver excellence Interested?
