Night Manager

Metro Hotel Dublin Airport, a 4* hotel just minutes from Dublin Airport is currently recruiting an experienced Night Manager.
Reporting to the Front Office Manager you will represent senior management during night shift and assist the Front Office Managerin all aspects of the department in accordance with the hotel policies and procedures.
FULL TIME POSITION Your responsibilities will include: Assume responsibility for the entire property when on shift Direct and oversee all hotel operations during night shift to ensure guest satisfaction and safety Manage and monitor activities of all employees at night time making sure they adhere to the standards and guidelines set in the employee handbook, hotel policies and procedures, coaching, training and correcting where needed Carry out all reception duties as per hotels standards and ensure the accurate completion of the night audit in a timely fashion Remain current in all updates with regards to new procedures and training Carry out any additional reasonable tasks requested by management Supervise the security at night time Attend management meetings when required The ideal candidate for this position: Has previous experience in a similar role Must be friendly and welcoming, focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service Must be able to work on their own initiative is essential Must have excellent communication skills Must have a good command of the English language Must have a proactive approach tosales Must be flexible with regards to hours and available to work night shifts Must be a team player with the ability to multi task Must have a working knowledge of MSWord and MS Excel Skills: Attention to detail Reliability Commitment
