Job Title: New Product Introduction (NPI) Project Manager Location: Westmeath, Ireland 12 Month Contract initiallyPlease note there are hybrid working options available with this roleOverview:Our client are seeking an experienced and dynamic New Product Introduction (NPI) Project Manager to join the team at a leading global food manufacturing company based in Westmeath.
This is a pivotal role in driving the successful launch of new products, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with customer expectations.Key Responsibilities:Project Management: Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, including Manufacturing, Finance, Innovation, and Commercial departments, to bring new products from concept to market.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand customer briefs and ensure all project activities are aligned with business objectives and customer needs.Timeline & Budget Management: Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring all milestones are met and projects stay on track.
Monitor project budgets, managing resources efficiently to meet financial targets.Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project objectives are achieved without compromising quality or deadlines.Process Improvement: Continuously review and refine NPI processes to enhance efficiency, reduce time-to-market, and improve product quality.Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, providing regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders on project status, risks, and outcomes.Quality Assurance: Ensure that all new products meet the company's quality standards and comply with relevant regulatory requirements.Post-Launch Review: Lead post-launch evaluations to assess project success, identify areas for improvement, and capture lessons learned for future projects.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Food Science, or a related field.Proven experience in managing new product introduction projects within the food manufacturing industry.Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to drive cross-functional teams towards common goals.Excellent organisational and time management abilities with a keen eye for detail.Proficient in project management tools and software.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.Knowledge of product development processes and a solid understanding of the food manufacturing environment.
