Dublin to a catchment area of some 182,000 people approximately. Role Summary Applications are invited from Occupational Therapists interested in working in mental health services. The successful applicant will work as part of the Occupational Therapy Department delivering interventions to referrals from the community mental health teams. They will receive supervision and support from the Occupational Therapy Manager and other colleagues in the department. This role will allow the successful candidate to grow in confidence and skills in the delivery of occupational therapy with people attending health services due to mental health difficulties. Interventions are delivered in one-to-one and group formats. Some delivery may occur online when indicated. Cluain Mhuire has a strong history in research, innovation, and training. Members of the occupational therapy will have the opportunity to pursue their goals in these areas. Due to the expanding nature of our service advancing to senior positions will become available in the future. Minimum Requirements Applications are invited from candidates registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU . Knowledge of the Individual Placement and Support model of vocational rehabilitation.
An understanding of the role of occupational therapy within a recovery orientated service.
Experience of occupational therapy in a mental health context.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to use information technology such as Microsoft Office, Zoom, and Teams. Remuneration Salary Grade 3298 OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale €43,122 - €61,916 Initial location The initial location of this role is in Blackrock, Co. Dublin .
However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS's other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require.
